With “Beyond the Game,” Kappa transforms football jerseys into true style statements, exploring their cultural and creative potential beyond the pitch.
The project brings together emerging designers with an experimental vision, such as Kiqué Sanchez and Tega Akinola, invited to reinterpret iconic jerseys from Kappa sponsored clubs through deconstruction, cuts, and contemporary fashion-driven reconstruction.
TEGA AKINOLA
London-based designer Tega Akinola brings her experimental and sustainable approach to the project, transforming four iconic Kappa jerseys: Deportivo La Coruña, Fiorentina, Real Valladolid, and OGC Nice into unique pieces that combine sport and fashion through the creative reuse of materials, inspired by sustainability and female empowerment.

Another designer involved in the project is American designer Kiqué Sanchez, who brings his experimental vision to contemporary sportswear by transforming Kappa® jerseys from OGC Nice, Red Star FC, Genoa CFC, and FK Partizan into unique pieces that combine football culture and fashion design.
